I did want to share that I’ve had a couple clients and friends recently get dropped by their team. It’s a bummer when it happens to you. I won’t lie. And it happens more frequently this time of year.  Companies evaluate their rosters and have to make tough choices. It isn’t always the most fun news to get going into the holiday season. 

I've been hearing from a lot of actors that it's been a bit slow for and people have asked me, "what can I do at the end of the year for my career if it's slow, but I still wanna be proactive?" 3 ideas to get you going...

I just want to remind you that while the holidays can be glorious and oh so fun, they can also be hard sometimes, especially for us creatives. 

There’s just SO MUCH people outside our industry don’t know.  

Sometimes it seems like everything is falling apart and miraculously, it all comes together. 

All this talk, “are we in a recession? are we not?” doesn’t really matter so much – it really matters how we feel about our own money situation. And as actors, I know it’s a topic that can bring up a lot of feelings. 

Rejection. How do you handle it? Do you even think about it as rejection when you don’t hear back from your self-tapes? 

These loops actors put themselves on of self-doubt is so toxic. (And I've done it too).
